4 Outfit Ideas for the Pregnant Disney Mama
If you’re like me then going to Disney doesn’t just mean slapping on your Disney Family Vacation 2022 t-shirt and calling it a day. It means picking out a cute ensemble that coordinates with the theme of whichever park you’re going to that day and finding that pair of ears that bring it all together. Or maybe you theme the whole outfit based off of the ears, I mean everyone has their method.
While packing for my most recent trip to Disneyland I found myself stumped as to what to pack. None of my go-to Disney pieces fit me anymore at 26 weeks pregnant with my second baby. So I got creative and wanted to share some of my bump friendly park ensembles for you to spring some inspiration off of if you are also finding yourself in a similar conundrum when packing for your next Disney trip!
So even if you are not a self proclaimed fashionista and your family vacation t-shirt is what you typically revert to, no problem! (not here to judge 🤷🏼♀️) I hope this helps to get your creative juices flowing when it isn’t fitting anymore like it once did or you aren’t feeling the super oversized men’s t-shirt look.
Oversized T-Shirt Dress
For starters, we have the oversized t-shirt dress that you can style to flatter your bump. This one is from Zara and I just tied an oversized denim long sleeve around the waist to cinch it and show off the bump. If you’re going to Florida during one of their more unpredictable seasons or to Disneyland where it can be cooler in the morning or in the evening, then you have another layer ready to go when you need it!
Body-con Dress with a Layer
Next I took a Target body-con dress that I wore a lot during my last pregnancy and put a button up from H&M over the top. Nice coverage over your butt but not too hot and another layering option!
If it’s going to be a little hotter you can style a tank or tee over the top of the dress and use the bottom as a skirt to throw in some extra Mickey flair.
Girley and Flowy
If you’re going to be spending a day at Animal Kingdom then it’s always fun to play with a safari theme. Here I just wore my giraffe print ears and paired them with a girly, flowy yellow dress.
Stretchy Skirt with a Fun Top
And finally one of my favorite outfits when pregnant/while going to the parks pregnant is pairing a stretchy body-con skirt with one of your regular tops. That way you can still rock your favorite Disney shirts while keeping the bottom portion bump friendly. This particular shirt that I’m wearing below is a crop so I just tucked the bottom portion into my skirt but if you wanted to wear a longer style shirt or tank you could always just tie it up or knot it to bring it up!
And if you happen to be going during the colder months, a jean jacket is always a solid layering option that pretty much matches everything!
So there ya go! Some ideas to hopefully get your wheels turning! It’s really all about what you’re most comfortable in, especially when you’ll be on your feet walking all day in the heat. Time to dress up that bump, throw some ears on and have have with it! You’re taking on Disney pregnant! You go girl!!!
