Top 4 Items at YeSake - Disney Springs
On our first trip to Disney with Jude, our first stop when we arrived was to Disney Springs. We headed down to check out what was new and to grab some dinner. When we left World of Disney it was absolutely down-pouring so we darted from the store and started searching for somewhere to stop and get food to take back to the room. I had seen so many reviews of Disney Springs food that I wanted to try out, one of them being the YeSake kiosk. Ya’ll. This place did not disappoint.
Chicken Bun
Pillowy soft on the outside, feels like butter when you bite into it and then hits you in the mouth with that savory sweet teriyaki sauce and tender chicken. A perfectly executed Bao bun. This thing is jam packed with flavor. Do yourself a favor and just get two of them. Thank me later.
Taiyaki
I threw in a Taiyaki to try, which is a sweet red-bean stuffed pastry with whipped cream. You might remember these from the Japanese booth at Flower and Garden festival at Epcot, so if you were a fan then you’re in luck! It’s shaped like an adorable little fish and came with a strawberry drizzled whip cream for dipping. The breading is sweet like a pastry but the filling is very distinctively and potently that earthy red bean flavor, so if that’s not your jam you probably will not be a fan of this guy.
Violet Sake
The real stars of the show though were our drinks. We ordered two (which in hindsight was bold) Violet Sake’s, a refreshing blend of sake, purple pear and lime juice. One of the most delicately balanced drinks I have ever had and it came from a kiosk🤯 The sticker shock of $12 isn’t too surprising for Disney, especially for the size of the drink (it was pretty generous). Thinking this drink sounds fabulous but aren’t working Disney Springs into your trip itinerary? No problem! The last I heard, you can grab a Violet Sake at the Garden House booth in the Japan Pavilion in Epcot! Honestly sipping one of those while strolling World Showcase sounds way better to me than darting through the rain trying to not spill in Springs 😂
Overall, an excellent option for some quick service grub in Springs. The drink alone was well worth the stop! And the food was fresh and light enough that we didn’t feel sluggish after sharing the food. Would highly recommend!
